All4Hym
All4Hym’s smooth gospel harmonies have made them a favorite at bluegrass festivals and special events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. All4Hym is made up of members of two families — the Kreitzers and the Murphys — and they have 4 CDs to their credit.

Andrew Acosta and the New Old-Time String Band
Andrew Acosta is an easy-going front man for a group of musicians whose commitment to bluegrass and old-time country music runs deep. The group has three CDs to their credit.
The New Old-Time String Band features 90-year-old fiddler Speedy Tolliver; and, they are a perennial favorite with Washington audiences.

HUBIE KING AND THE OLD TIMERS
Hubie King, is the host of Old TIme Jam on WAMU’s Bluegrass Country. Hubie started his musical journey as a teen-ager playing bluegrass banjo but in the mid-70’s he discovered the vibrant world of Old Time music and fell in love with the clawhammer-style of banjo playing. In true jam fashion, a band of friends join Hubie on stage as The Old Timers: Hubie’s wife, Chris, plays guitar and sings David “Trip” Clements and his wife, Nancy, both play fiddle and sing. Jim Glaser plays bass; and, Mary Briggs will be a guest vocalist.

Lisa Kay Howard
Lisa Kay started as a Bluegrass Overnight host in 1991. Today she is the host of The Old Home Place, heard during the Tuesday noon - 3:00 time slot. She plays mandolin and heads up the Lisa Kay Band, which features tv news anchor Doug McKelway on banjo, John Seebach on guitar, Wally Hughes on fiddle and DeeAnn Arneson on bass.

Scythian
Scythian plays a mix of kicked-up Celtic and world music with hints of gypsy and klezmer. Their unique sound defies classification although “speed folk” has been used on more than one occasion. Scythian released their third album in July 2007.
